Madurai: Private Kolam Art Workshop & Tamil Culture
About this experience
Learn the patient movements behind kolam, the decorative patterns associated with many Tamil doorways and courtyards. A local host introduces simple dot arrangements and flowing lines before helping you practise a design yourself. This is a relaxed creative session for curious beginners, with conversation about the role of kolam in daily routines and celebrations.
Tell us your travel date, group size and any accessibility or dietary needs when you enquire. The final programme is agreed before confirmation, including the meeting point, transport arrangements and any tickets or meals. You can ask for a slower pace or a different emphasis where the route and venue arrangements allow.
